These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of https://monpax.com (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms.

1. Definitions

  • "Site" — the web resource located at https://monpax.com.
  • "Main Map" — a puzzle in the form of a map located on the Site’s homepage. Initially, it is hidden and gradually reveals new fragments as the project develops.
  • "Main Answer Form" — a form with four input fields for submitting an answer, located below the Main Map. This form remains locked until the required conditions for unlocking it are met.
  • "Mini-Maps" — a series of smaller maps (puzzles) available on the Site. Solving these Mini-Maps helps unlock the Main Map.
  • "Rules" — a set of rules that regulate the process of solving puzzles and submitting answers to the Main Map, available at https://monpax.com/rules.

2. General Terms

  • The Site is designed for entertainment purposes and aims to provide an engaging experience for puzzle enthusiasts.
  • The Site is a free-to-play platform for solving puzzles.
  • Users can optionally register with an email address to save their game progress.
  • The Site owner does not guarantee the continuous availability of content, puzzles, or updates. The appearance, structure, and functionality of the Site may change at any time.

3. Registration and User Accounts

  • Users can create an account by providing an email address and password. A valid email address must be provided upon registration.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity performed under your account.
  • Creating duplicate accounts is prohibited.
  • The Site owner reserves the right to block or suspend an account suspected of being a duplicate or used for answer brute-forcing or other abusive behavior, without obligation to provide a detailed explanation.
  • Passwords are stored in hashed form and cannot be retrieved in plain text.
  • The Site owner is not responsible for lost login credentials or unauthorized access resulting from your failure to protect them.
  • Information about how account data is processed is described in the Privacy Policy.

4. Content, Game Process, and Availability

  • The Site owner reserves the right to modify, remove, or update game content, including the Main Map, Mini-Maps, and any related content.
  • The schedule of puzzle updates, answer formats, and access conditions to the Main Map and Main Answer Form may change at any time at the sole discretion of the Site owner.
  • The Site owner does not guarantee that puzzles will be available at specific times or that the game will progress according to players’ expectations.
  • The Site owner reserves the right to determine how the game progresses, including the timing of events, the appearance of new puzzle fragments, and the structure of the Rules.

5. Grand Prize

  • No specific grand prize is implied unless explicitly stated by the Site’s creator in the Rules or other official announcements on the Site.
  • The game’s Rules are structured to protect the integrity of the Main Puzzle and to prevent the disclosure of any information that could indirectly help solve it in an unintended way.
  • The creator will announce the prize amount and conditions once a significant portion of the puzzle has been revealed and players have a realistic chance of solving it.

6. Donations and Third-Party Services

  • The Site may contain links to third-party platforms such as 🔗 Patreon for voluntary donations.
  • Donations are entirely voluntary and do not provide any gameplay advantages, priority, or exclusive access to content.
  • Donations are considered support for the author at the current stage of the project’s development and do not create any contractual obligations regarding game outcomes or prizes.
  • All financial transactions are processed on external websites with their own terms of use and privacy policies. The Site owner does not process or store payment information.
  • The Site owner is not responsible for the operation of these third-party services or their data processing practices.

7. Privacy and Data Processing

  • The processing of your personal data, including information collected during registration and use of the Site, is governed by the Privacy Policy.
  • By using the Site, you agree to the Privacy Policy in addition to these Terms.

8. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

  • The Site owner does not guarantee that the logic of the puzzles will match the player’s expectations and does not warrant that the puzzles are free from mistakes or inconsistencies. The puzzles are part of a creative game process, and errors may occur.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the total liability of the Site owner for any claims relating to the use of the Site is limited to the amount you have paid directly to the Site owner in connection with the Site, if any (excluding voluntary donations processed by third-party platforms).

  • The latest version of the Terms will always be available on this page.
  • Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
